[SPOILERS] The season 3 finale of Silo blew my mind
SPOILERS for Silo TV Show until the end of season 3
How did they do it? I feel betrayed and rewarded at the same time!
It was sooooo good. I was not a fan of the introduction of the pre-silo timeline into the show. I thought it was unnecessary. I didn’t need the origin story. I was happy for it to be a mystery. I didn’t care about those new/old characters. I thought they didn’t matter. I thought it was padding. I felt that it kind of undermined the world building of the silo-world.
But WOW was I wrong. And I never saw that reveal in the finale coming. I was shouting at the tv “no way!!!” Those first 20 minutes were staggering.
And the penultimate episode too! The tension. The explosion. Fuck.
The whole season. Wow. All of it.
Then I caught the season 4 teaser trailer. And I’m so excited for it.
Never has a seemingly slow-burn show managed to build quite like this for me. The pieces gradually falling together. The build of tension. The sense of mystery revealing to greater mystery.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
